Hi I'm Jayne, I provide home visit tuition in Carrickfergus and the surrounding areas.

I have a First Class Honours BEd degree in Primary Education, specializing in Mathematics. During my degree, I gained three months of teaching experience in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes, giving me an up-to-date understanding of primary curricular and transfer test requirements.

In the third year of my degree, I participated in the Erasmus+ programme, completing a semester of study in Austria, where I undertook a 14-week placement teaching Austrian pupils English. I was also awarded the Effenberg-Wilkinson Award for exceeding all other students according to set criteria in my Erasmus activity by Stranmillis University College.

I am a friendly, caring, and committed tutor who is passionate about creating a child-centred and inclusive learning environment through innovative teaching strategies to enable all children to feel supported and reach their full potential.
