Hi, I’m Ellie,

I’m a passionate, dedicated and experienced qualified Computer Science and Maths teacher with a strong commitment to helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential. I take a friendly, patient and learner-centred approach, adapting my teaching to suit the individual needs of each student.

Before moving to Northern Ireland, I taught in both inner‑city and suburban schools in England, working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. I have extensive experience teaching GCSE Computer Science and Maths, having taken classes through to their final exams in both subjects and achieving excellent results. I can confidently tutor multiple exam boards, including but not limited to CCEA, AQA, OCR, and Edexcel. I also have experience teaching A‑Level Computer Science and supporting students with exam preparation.

I have experience working with students with SEN and understand the importance of adapting teaching, resources and explanations to ensure every learner can engage with and enjoy their learning. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing in confidence.

I believe learning should be both enjoyable and rewarding. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to develop their curiosity, resilience and love of learning.
